Meet & Greet

FREE - Exotic Pet Pals will never charge potential clients for a Meet and Greet. This is a free consultation meeting for us to meet, to discuss your needs, fill out & sign client forms, and for the sitter to obtain house keys. During COVID-19, we do request that all people present at a Meet & Greet wear masks. Let us know too if you'd like to initially meet via Zoom where a lot of the Meet & Greet can be taken care of, leaving only a short in-person visit to meet the pets and obtain a house key.

Pet Sitting

*Pet Sitting Prices are based on time, not per pet. If you have a lot of pets, or a special circumstance that will take us more than 30 minutes per visit to complete, then please be sure to discuss this with Sharon during scheduling.

Our pet sitting services is for all species of pets.

During our visit, we take care of all your pets' needs, including cleaning up any pet messes, so be sure to show us where the most common cleaning supplies can be found during the Meet & Greet. We will also check your mail, bring in newspapers and packages from your porch, water plants, and change lighting or blinds(only upon request). We will place your outdoor trash & recycle cans at your curb the night before collection, and return them after, upon request.

When you hire a professional pet sitter, your home is being cared for as well. Please be sure to lock all exterior doors and windows before you travel, and notify us if anyone else has been granted access to your home.

30 minutes - $30 per visit

$10 extra for each Holiday occurring during service period (President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year’s Day)

*45-minute ($37) or 60-minute ($45) visits are available on a case-by-case basis.

Dog Walking
*Regular, ongoing midday dog walks are only available in Crofton and Gambrills at this time

We recommend the standard 30-minute walk for most dogs, especially puppies or any dog spending the day in a crate. On hot days, we always provide water breaks & seek out shaded areas. All walks can also be customized to include outdoor & indoor play if you want your dog to have 30-minutes of interaction, but not necessarily walking outdoors that entire time.
The 15-minute walk is ideal for senior or low-energy dogs.

Standard 30-min walk: $30 per visit that occurs less than 4 days a week
Discounted 30-min walk: $25 per visit that occurs 4 days a week or more
Mini walk: $20 for a 15-min walk, ideal for elderly or low-energy dogs

Pet Reiki

Reiki is a hands-on energy healing practice. Our trained practitioners channel healing energy through their hands to the animal through light touch. Benefits for pets may include: alleviating anxiety, stress, nervousness, and producing a state of calm, increasing energy levels and overall well-being.
$40 for a 45-minute session.

Cat or Dog Subcutaneous Fluid Treatment: $25.00
Nail Trims--Small Exotic Pets only: starting at $20

Wing Clipping--Small birds only: starting at $20

Bird Seed to Pellet Conversion: $40 per hour for a one-time Consultation, Plan creation & owner training. If you desire us to handle all aspects of the conversion, then daily pet sitting charges above will apply for us to schedule the time needed to weigh your bird and measure its food proportions.

Sharon is also experienced in injection administration for pets, and also in safe, proper & life-saving blood feather removal.
